Guitar Repairs:
SET UP
Acoustic, electric guitars and basses without locking tremolo unit - £40 + strings
Electric guitars with locking tremolos - £45 + strings
If the frets of an instrument are worn, & affecting the setup, recrowning will be an extra £40

Refrets:
Unfinished unbound finger board £120
Lacquered maple, including refinish  £150
Bound finger board - £150
Bound finger board with enclosed fret ends,  £200

Gibson style headstock breaks:
reglued and light cosmetic repair £85.00
Glued,refinished  £160.00

Custom built instruments can be made to your specifications, depending on my workload. Prices can be discussed, but will be based on electric or acoustic, & materials used.

I also repair all other types of stringed instruments, from Banjo's to autoharps.
All other repairs will priced on assessment, but all repairs will be considered, contact me here

 

Amplifier Repairs £ servicing:

Standard Service  £55 plus parts
Revalve and Bias  £40 plus set of valves
Amplifier Repair  £55 an hour plus parts

All complex amp repairs will assessed and an approximate repair cost given, contact me here

Custom amps can be designed and built to your specifications, prices depending on type of amp required.

Tape echo machine servicing priced in assessment (depending on make/model)

Tape cartridges refilled, prices from £35 depending on model

In-service inspection & testing (PAT testing) £2 per item tested
